MK NEXT Gen

 Since the launch of MK11 on current gen we jumped right into GUEST DLC CHRACTER spots. Which included some childhood favorites. Working on this new DLC characters included testing, character intro cinematics, fatalities cinematics, sound FX, VFX, and much more. Including the new DLC characters we added more to story mode with Aftermath. Which is basically a continued story after the base MK11 story mode. So to recap, new characters, new maps, new fatalities, new story mode. This all came right as COVID-19 hit. I'm sure everyone has their on story and take on the virus, but we started to work from home. At first he had growing pains trying to figure out how'd we'd pull builds, get check-ins swept and so on, but honestly the NRS QA time nailed it WFH. Not only did we submit all our new content on time, but we would later port everything to next gen consoles in 4K. This included PS5 and XBOX X (as we call it) So another recap, since working from home we submitted and published MK 11 Aftermath to XBOX One, PS4, and MK11 Ultimate to PS5 and XBOX X all working from home. The team did a great job and MK11 would go on to win best fighting game of the year 2020. Since my time parting from Volition I have worked on three titles, next gen consoles, and been apart of the MK11 success. So it's been pretty good.
